As we explained previously, our setup is a 5.2.4 Adam T5s speaker system setup. This configuration is widely used (in many different speaker numbers) in cinemas. We are using this particular configuration to have a more immersive electronic music approach for the audience while keeping also in line with the cinematic feel. The only unconventional thing about our setup is that in a normal setup the sub speaker is always placed at the front of the speaker setup, while in our configuration we will have a sub speaker on each side (as depicted in the below picture)

The Sound configuration was installed and calibrated by Mark Agius from Black Box Pro. Mark ( Island Rockers Sound System ) has tooughroully went through the below process to configure, measure and calibrate the sound to our specific environment. The below images are a representation of the Audio output channels and the Speaker output value. The Audio outputs are configured in a way that match with our spatial sound configuration for example audio out 1 is the Left Speaker. The Output volume for each speaker was then measured and calibrated against a white noise sound so that all the speakers emit the same value of sound towards that fixed position.
In the below 3D diagram you can see the layout of the ceiling speakers. This layer of speakers give the listener the added dimension and space where sound can move and travel. The ceiling speaker setup will more or less mirror the ear-level speaker setup in Sound value. The distance from the ceiling system and the listen will most of the time be longer that that between the ear-level speaker and the listener, this is why a good measurement and calibration of the Speaker output volume is essential. To sum it all up if a system is well calibrated, speakers may be at different distances but still emmit the same exact value of sound to that fixed point.
